Today's post is dedicated to our cousin Eddie whose birthday is today, as well as Stephanie, my son, Andrew's mother-in-law whose birthday is also today. I hope they both have a wonderful day and get everything they deserve. Two very supportive and kind people who deserve all the good things life has to offer.
"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." - Princess Diana
"My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness." - Dalai Lama
"Stay kind, It makes you beautiful."- Unknown
"You never really know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needed that smile you gave them. You never know how much kindness turned someone's life around. You never know how much someone needed that long hug or deep talk. So don't wait to be kind. Don't wait for someone else to be kind first. Don't wait for better circumstances or for someone to change. Just be kind because you never know how much someone needed it." - Nikki Banas

Today we got up a bit late. We went to the Mandalay Beach. the adult pool had a cover charge of $10 for women and $30 for men because the area is topless! I said, "That is sexist, I could be here to look at other women's boobs. And because of that I am not staying!" Just kidding. I just think it is so stupid and women who go there are debasing themselves, while men who go there are objectifying women. At least look at porn in your home, don't wear it out there for everyone to see. Anyway, we went to the wave pool. We had just barely laid down to catch some rays when the thunder and rain started. Everyone went to the bar. We had ginormous drinks, french fries and onion rings. Later we walked the dogs, got dressed to go out and we went to a nice restaurant called Libertine Social Gastropub. I had a nice orange drink and a BLT sald, and my friend had a beet salad and Prosecco. The appetizer of freshly baked pretzels with a rough mustard and baked cheese was so good. Then we went to see the Cirque du Soleil show "O." The O stands for the infinity and elegance of water's pure form. Phonetic word play on the French word for water, eau. From the first moment as the red stage curtain is dramatically whooshed away the show is full of moving parts and moving characters in the water, out of the water, dancing, swinging, diving, and jumping. It was dramatic, beautiful and entertaining. The stunts were dangerous, but made to look so easy by highly skilled and beautiful bodied performers. I was so impressed with the show I spent too much money in the gift shop. Oh well. Thank you to my dear friend for treating me to this wonderful experience.
Walked the dogs and off to bed - we have to get up early.
