Today is dedicated to the difference between being alone and having solitude. My guess would be that solitude is something you seek, but alone is a feeling or the absence of another.
" Loneliness expresses the pain of being alone and solitude expresses the glory of being alone." - Unknown
This quote was sent to me by a very wise young man, Andrew Dieppa.

I spent the day washing my linens. When you sleep with dogs in rainy weather, cleaning your linens frequently is recommended. While I was washing, I caught up on my blog posts.
At night, when I can't sleep, I ponder many things so I don't know when it happened exactly, but one night I was thinking about why my dogs have not been eating well since we left home. The food is the exactly the same food - mixed the same way - in the same portions. Then it occurred to me that I was feeding them out of plastic bowls. At home they eat out of ceramic bowls. So, I went to Big Lots and bought a set of ceramic bowls for eight bucks. Of course I had to personalize them - so cute. Guess what... they are eating normally again! So crazy, but it worked.
I uploaded eight days of blog posts today. My hands are hurting so bad. Terry treated us, Jackie, Phil, and I to dinner tonight at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. The food was great and it really did feel like we were in Texas. It was quite noisy, but the food was really good. Did I already say that? Well, I had the pulled pork and the baked sweet potato. We were so full. The car ride home was soo quiet because we were all digestive.
Terry and Kayla worked hard today. They dug one of the holes for the skull entrance to the corn maze. Terry also worked on the skull and Kayla weeded the area in front of the store. They love the farm and the hard work. They also enjoy working together. So lovely to see their relationship. Kayla brought me a monarch butterfly. It was on it's last leg, so I put it into the pot with Ben and there it has been ever since.
Talked to Yvette tonight - that's always nice. Now off to try to sleep tonight.
