Today’s post is dedicated to my son, Aaron who is super amazing. For a very long time he has been a successful wedding photographer and he owned his own company with his partner, which was called Adventure Chest. He decided to make a change, taught himself programming, and put himself out there interviewing. So, he got a great job that he can do from home. I’m very proud of him. I know Barbara is too. He was going through all the interviewing process, but still found time to check on me and to always be there when I needed him. Besides all that he’s a great husband and a great dad.

Today Terry and Jackie took me to breakfast at Perry’s Main Street Eatery in Poultney, Vermont. It’s a true family owned and operated restaurant. They also have a dairy farm. The grandmother and grandfather started the business and she still cooks, while the daughter and her daughters take care of the counter and the customers. Really nice people. Next, Terry had to pick up their clothes from the alterations seamstress at Ruby’s Nimble Thimble nearby. On the way back home we stopped at a covered bridge, The Rexleigh Covered Bridge built in 1874. It was fun to see, cross, and take pictures.
Later, Terry and I went out to get coffee and tea and to stop at True Value. I was able to put up my cookie sheet magnetic board after Terry drilled holes for the screws. It won’t fall down again. I also fixed my shower drain and the blinds that kept falling, as well.
It’s super hot and humid tonight. I’ve taken two cold showers. I can’t use my air conditioner because I’m afraid of blowing a fuse in Terry’s barn. It finally cooled down enough at 9:30 to where the outside air felt cooler than the inside. We slept with all the windows open. I could sleep in the house, but there isn’t air in there either. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit cooler. Crossing my fingers. It’s like living in a sauna box.

Love those quotes!
Thanks Mom! Love you and I’m proud of you too!
