July 12: Happy Birthday to Alec

Today’s post is dedicated to my Alec because this is the anniversary of his birth. He’s such a good man. Takes care of his family, goes to work, and school, and has so many interests. He is spiritual and practices his Kundalini yoga. He is creative and talented in using his hands - making leather goods, carving wood, as well as cutting hair. Can you tell I’m proud?

Today when I woke up I knew it was time to see a doctor. My ear infection is out of control and is now affecting my hearing and my foot is more swollen than ever. Terry took me to the Urgent Care in Glens Falls. They billed my insurance - score one for me. The PA wrote two prescriptions for my ear and then had my foot x-rayed. I don’t have any broken bones, so I don’t really know why only my left foot is swelling. My right is completely normal. Got the prescriptions filled, then when we came home, I slept most of the rest of the day. Terry babysat my boys. When I woke up I had popcorn for dinner. Still tired, but I feel like tomorrow will be better.
