Today's post is dedicated to our neighbors the Monnigs. We've lived across the street from each other for more than 30 years. While we haven't always been close, we've watched each others kids grow up. We've always had the best of intentions and wishes towards one another. They've been very supportive.

Another really long bridge

It just keeps going

Aren't the clouds gorgeous?

That one cloud looks like a baseball glove with a ball in the middle.
Lots of driving today, but we spent most of the day on the outer banks of North Carolina. I drove over so many bridges - really, really long bridges that connect all the peninsulas. We stopped at Kitty Hawk to see the Wright Brother's Memorial. The memorial is at the top of Kill Devil Hill. The walk up was super steep. There's an airfield where you can take a biplane ride. You can also walk the distance of the first four flights. The boys and I enjoyed this National Park a lot. We walked two miles. After, we had a very long trip to Lumberton, North Carolina KOA and didn't arrive until after 8, just as it was getting dark. My foot is so swollen and now it's a little bit painful, but I'm still smiling. I don't have to go to work and I get to see so much of our country, even if it is starting to all look the same. Haha
Everywhere I go I see signs for Help Wanted. I wanted to stop and treat the boys to a McDonald's hamburger, but everyone we stopped at had signs on locked doors saying that due to the lack of staffing only the drive thru is open. I can't go through a drive thru with my camper. No hamburger today. :0(
