Today's post is dedicated to time as "the great healer." It's not true. For me, time is still just passing. Time is worthless if you're not doing something meaningful. I think Ben would agree with that. Everyday - I try to do something meaningful - either to help myself grow a bit or for someone else, even if it's just saying something nice, holding open a door, giving a gift of money or something I own that they admire. I feel better about myself when I do something for someone else, rather than myself. I'm always grateful when someone does something nice for me and I'm always surprised when someone thanks me for being nice. Weird. I have a screw loose. Anyone have a screwdriver?

"It has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone." - Rose Kennedy

"She would know." - Laurie Dieppa

Lauren's family left today. Lauren's working of course because it is Tuesday. I went over to get Andrew to see about the car loan and get the car in his name, so he can register it in Texas. On my way over there there was a semi truck trying to make a u-turn. God bless him. I've been in that situation on this trip. He tried at least five or six times. He finally had to just make the turn into the adjacent parking lot and go all the way around the building. I didn't stick around to see if he made it. I assume he did. Lauren came home and took Franklin with her to get groceries. Andrew and I went to Carmax. They couldn't help us. He's going to have to take out a loan of his own through the credit union. I'll try to facilitate this when I get back home. He took me back to the hotel because I had several loads of laundry to do, also packing up. I had a bunch of stuff to load up into the truck and camper. But I knew I was going to be staying in hotels for two days so I had so many different piles. It was so confusing - well - plus the Margaritas. :0)
