Today's post is dedicated to knowing when to take care of yourself. I haven't been around so many people that I had to interact with since, I had my retirement dinner. Don't get me wrong - I love everyone of the family at Franklin's birthday yesterday, but it was a bit overwhelming for me and I haven't had any real down time since I picked Yvette up from the airport.

The cutest one year old boy today.

We weren't the only ones who needed a day off.

He looks a lot like his dad, but he takes after both sides of his family.

He's the sweetest thing ever.

Decided to let Lauren, Andrew, and Franklin go to Austin without Yvette and I. I needed a day without crowds. We decided to take it easy - went to Target and I went to Walmart - needed a duffle bag because I'm tired of taking plastic bags into hotels. Feel like I'm homeless. We went over to see Andrew and family later. Lauren's family went out to eat and Yvette and I brought tacos from Torchys over to Andrew's family. It was good to see them in a more quiet atmosphere. The salmon and salad was really good. Lauren had to work tomorrow, so we didn't stay too long. Tomorrow Yvette leaves. I'm glad she got to see them again.
