Today's post is dedicated to the Oldies, but the Goodies -- not he old people next door or me, but the songs from the 70s and 80s that got me from Florida to Mississippi. Some of the best; Elton John, The Eagles, Electric Light Orchestra, Eddie Money, America, Marvin Gaye, Paul McCartney and Wings, The Rolling Stones, James Taylor, Carole King, Carly Simon, Bread, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, David Bowie, and of course Queen. Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Tyler, Madonna, Prince, Culture Club, Pat Benatar, George Michael, Kim Carnes, Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Guns N' Roses, and Jefferson Airplane. One of Ben's favorites was Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. One of my favorites was Hurts So Good by John Cougar Mellencamp. The almost six hour drive flew by with my Starbucks and singing to the Oldies.

This is what Bobby does when he has to wait for me while I'm at Starbucks. For all you animal rights activists out there. The car is locked, but running, so they still have air conditioning and they always have water available in the back.

Just thought that this was kind of funny. It's a weed dispensary. What you can't read is that it says, "Next to Hobby Lobby. Haha

Today's quotes are song lyrics. See if you can match the lyrics to the artist who performed them. Bonus, if you can correctly identify the Title of the song, as well. BTW, there isn't a prize, this isn't second grade, you just get the fun of the activity on the road down memory lane and the satisfaction of a job well done. Haha.

Have fun trying to match these song lyrics to the artists who recorded them. The answers will be posted tomorrow.
My day was just driving, singing 70's and 80's music, stopping to pee for me and the dogs, stopping for more drinks, so we can pee some more. Drove through the Florida panhandle, through the southern most part of Alabama - We drove straight through Whoops You Missed IT. Then we landed in Biloxi, MIssissippi right on the beach. Tomorrow is my birthday and I plan to spend it laying on that beach and getting good and fried.
