Today's post is dedicated to James and Stephanie Bermudez. Oh man...my son Andrew really got lucky with his in-laws. James and Stephanie along with their whole family have always welcomed Andrew with loving arms. They are good, kind people who love and embrace who their children love. James has helped me through my accouting/tax issues and Stephanie has been so supportive of me especially since Ben died. She cut up Ben's shirts and saw my vision of making pillows and bears out of his shirts for the boys and their children when I was too weak and emotional to do it myself. They have taken care of Lauren and Andrew throughout their move to Texas. I'm so happy for them to have their first grandchild, Franklin. There truly is nothing like being a grandparent. I know that with every grandchild that my children have given me my heart has expanded to where there are times I feel like it might explode with happiness. Ben loved his grandkids so much. I just want to publicly thank James and Stephanie for their awesome generosity, kindness, and friendship. They are special people.

"Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." - www.spirituallythinking.blogspot.com
"Something I have learned...How not to treat my grown sons and their wives. Yes, my sons will always be my babies in my eyes, but they are grown men with beliefs and values all their own. I have to respect that. Though we may not always agree due to our different relationship roles and our age difference - having a lasting, loving relationship with each of them, their wives, and my grandchildren will be valued more in my heart than any disagreement where I believe I'm right." - Laurie Dieppa

I got such a good night's sleep. The two margaritas may have helped a bit, but it was nice to be back in my own bed. - even if it is the camper bed. I slept from 11:30 to 9:30. I let the dogs out on their picnic table leash and ate my cereal out there with them. It was sprinkling a bit, but the temperature was nice. I put on my bathing suite and some shorts to take the dogs for a walk around the "lake," which is about a quarter mile. Then I got my bike out, filled up the tires with my air compressor and took the dogs around the lake again this time Bobby in the basket and Jean-Luc trotting beside me. I then fed the dogs and went for a swim. I have a thing about public pools - so unless I'm the first one in for the day, I won't go in. Stranger's stuff getting washed over by the water just give me the heebeejeebees. Thankfully it was still sprinkling and so no one else had bee in the pool yet and I had the pool to myself. I did 8-10 laps then took a shower. While I was showering it started to rain. For once my timing was right on. I made some lunch and watched a movie and read a little bit of a book I've been trying to read for more than a month. I ended up binge watching the new series The White Lotus. Another dark comedy. So funny and absurd. The rain finally stopped at 5:00. One of the amigos came by to say hi and I also saw the egret walk by. I'm going to take the dogs for another walk. Spoke too soon - 5:30 it started pouring again. I did finally get the dogs out for another walk. I started the laundry and I started another quirky series called, Doom Patrol. It's weird, funny, and I want to see where it goes. It's part of the DC family of series and films, but oh, so different. Off to bed.
