Today's post is dedicated to the benefits of doing it wrong which is something my son, Andrew said to me and it reminds me of John Mayer's son, No Such Thing."I'd like to think the best of me Is still hiding up my sleeve...So the good boys and girls take the so-called right track Faded White hats, grabbing credits, and maybe transfers They read all the books, but they can't find the answers." I think what they're both saying is that we all have our own path/journey in life. There isn't one way or even the best way. We just have to follow the path that leads to where we want to end up. The path can be short or long. It's the destination that we strive for, but the journey is just as important.

"Never forget: How far you have come. Everything you have gotten through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you couldn't. All the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up but you got through another day. Never forget how much strength you have learned and developed along the way." - Unknown

"Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn't know until you lived through it. Honor your path. Trust your journey. Learn, grow, evolve, become." - Latishacotto.com

Because I was told that the sun rise wasn't something I can just miss on the east coast, I got up at 6:30 and took the dogs out for a walk. The sky was beautiful and the sun had not yet risen. Twenty minutes later I dropped the dogs back off in our room and went back down to the beach. Lucy was right. It was glorious and gorgeous. I'm so glad I didn't miss it.

Since I was already up, I decided to hit the road early. I packed up the car, drover over to the camper, transferred all our stuff and hitched up the camper. Then I walked back to get the dogs and check out. We didn't have too far to go so we took our time and still arrived early. I didn't have any food in my fridge, Googled a grocery store and found a Winn Dixie somewhat nearby. It was 12:20 when I got in line to pay for my groceries. While I'm standing in line a Winn Dixie employee comes up to my cart, taps my case of "Ritas" and says, "That alcohol?" I answered that it was and she says, "you can't buy that until 12:30, it's the law in Georgia." I looked at my watch, 12:21. So, I took another spin around the store, picked up a few more things, got back in line, let people go ahead of me. My check out turn arrives and it is 12:30. The checker says that she can't scan the liquor until 12:31. She's checking and bagging my things very slowly until it is 12:31. I've never heard of such a law. I assume that if you are of legal age, you can purchase liquor anytime the store is open.

I stopped at the Florida Welcome rest stop to walk the dogs and eat some popcorn because I hadn't eaten yet today. Finally 2:00 arrived and we checked into the KOA at the Jennings Florida-Georgia line. At our site we were greeted by the three amigos, three ducks that are never more than 50 feet away from each other. I spent the afternoon catching up on my blog and talking to my boys, Alec and Andrew. I put away my groceries, and took the dogs for a walk around the "lake." It's a pond; a large pond, but not a lake. My plans for tomorrow include swimming and later maybe pumping up the tires on the bike and go for a ride with the dogs.
